Wowzers! When I got home from work today there was a little brown package waiting for me. My book! It feels so surreal to be holding it. Of course I have to check it out to make sure no errors but after that its ready. This was my first attempt at a book so I already see so many things I would have done differently. So many poems I would not have put in there or that seem so undone and stupid. I say, why oh why did I put that in there?? But hey, it has been this awesome learning experience that I would never take back. So I am working diligently on a second one. I want it to be stronger and better. I figure the first is practice. Hopefully it will be sitting on many a bookshelf soon! Either way, I have accomplished something..... and my kids are proud of me! WhoooHoooooo
